This year, we once again collaborated with 2D RESTAURANT, this time designing illustrations for their 2024 Halloween-themed walls! Every year, brainstorming with them is an incredibly fun experience. This time, we came up with many classic horror characters, such as the "Japanese Long-Neck Ghost," the adorable "Mummy," the dramatic "Gates of Hell," and "Ghost Rider." We added a touch of cuteness and playfulness to the Halloween theme, ensuring that both kids and adults can enjoy the festive atmosphere.

The hallmark of 2D RESTAURANT is creating a space where both adults and kids can have a great time. With that in mind, we avoided overly scary elements in our illustration designs, opting instead for softer comic-style lines and engaging storylines to create a cohesive vibe. Our goal is to make Halloween not just about "horror" but also filled with delightful surprises that bring a smile to everyone’s face.

On the wall, the "Japanese Long-Neck Ghost" isn’t scary at all — instead, she steals a customer’s donut and happily stuffs it into her mouth with a satisfied look. The "Mummy" is designed to be adorably round and chubby, holding a basket of donuts with a confused expression as it stumbles into the scene! The "Gates of Hell" and the "Exploding Wall" add a touch of coolness and mystery. The background of the "Gates of Hell" features Chinese characters, introducing international visitors to this famous ghostly legend from the East. In front of the "Exploding Wall," there’s a real motorcycle where you can pose like Ghost Rider, creating a comic-book hero effect for your photos.
