2D Restaurant x CCMA<\/strong><\/h4>

The\u300aHokusai & Ukiyo-e\u300bthemed exhibition, presented by 2D Restaurant in collaboration with CCMA, will take place in the summer of 2025 at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art in Chicago. Featuring black-and-white 2D-style murals created by designers from FIPEA, the exhibition highlights four beloved themes. Through recreated scenes, immersive experiences, and interactive activities, visitors are taken on a journey that bridges Eastern classics with childhood memories.<\/em><\/p>

The specially crafted stage features intentional damage marks, evoking the aftermath of fierce combat and faithfully capturing the classic scenes from the manga. Ukiyo-e | Wonders Amid the Waves <\/strong><\/h4>

Ukiyo-e is a woodblock print art form that emerged during Japan's Edo period, known for its vivid depictions of everyday life, famous landscapes, and theatrical scenes. It is characterized by bold compositions and a distinct, recognizable style.
One of the most renowned artists of Ukiyo-e is Katsushika Hokusai, whose masterpiece \"The Great Wave off Kanagawa\" from the \"Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji\" series has profoundly influenced the global art world.
